Next major roadmap
Nexon presented the next Season 4 direction, scheduled for August 20, 2026, during the 2nd Anniversary broadcast. This remains roadmap context until the content is live.
New content
- August 20 starts Season 4 story content around Karel, the new Descendant Raven, Mega Dungeon, Trials and 11 Transcendent Weapons.
- Mega Dungeon is planned as a longer activity than current content, with Normal mode for story and Hard mode for real farming.
- Ultimate Hailey is scheduled for September 17 with an AoE mobbing build and a huge single-target shot build.
- Cradle of Evolution is planned above Axion dungeon difficulty, while Colosseum-A is planned for December as a 3v3 PvEvP mode.
New systems
- Transcendent Weapons add a quality system: the more you farm, the better the version you can aim for. Mastery Rank cap also rises to 36, and you can equip three Transcendent Weapons at once.
- Transcendent versions of existing Ultimate Weapons will have different gunplay, passives or effects. These weapons will not be reserved for veterans or end-game players: new players will also be able to farm them from Season 4 launch across several activities.
- Trials is not endless: enemies and modifiers scale up, with full test builds, matchmaking by Arche Activity score, Merit Tokens and a dedicated shop.
- Lounge trading will not be available at Season 4 launch: it is planned for the September update and will let players list Ancestor Modules and Transcendent Weapons for sale, even while offline, with TFD Market planned to support the system.
Announced before launch
- A Mega Dungeon conquest event is planned around early September with Brutal difficulty, solo and group speedrun rewards, plus rewards for clearing it at least once.
- Colosseum-A is planned as a competitive PvEvP activity similar to Destiny 2's Gambit: two teams of three complete objectives, and one player can become a Colossus to invade the opposing map.
- Season 4 patch details are expected to define the final build and farming changes.
