Invasions, 400% Infiltration and the first full season
Season 1 launched Invasions and Inversion Reinforcement with Hailey, then added Ultimate Freyna, Death Stalker, 400% Infiltration Operations and ETA-0.
New content
- Hailey arrived alongside the Invasion story and daily Invasion Dungeons, which rewarded her research materials, Gold and Inversion Reinforcement EXP.
- Ultimate Freyna, Freyna's personal story, Death Stalker, new Ultimate Weapons and new modules followed later in the season.
- 400% Infiltration Operations added much denser enemy waves and became a fast way to earn Standard ETA Vouchers.
New systems
- Inversion Reinforcement introduced seasonal bonuses unlocked with EXP earned from Invasions and other activities on Hard difficulty.
- ETA-0 is available from Friday to Monday: duplicate blueprints can be sold there, while vouchers earned in-game can be exchanged for rewards.
- Reactor Implant lets an Ultimate Reactor hold up to three Optimization Conditions, reducing the need to replace an otherwise useful Reactor.
QoL and reworks
- Slow Occupation, Defense and Escort objectives in Hard Infiltration Operations were replaced with faster combat and destruction phases.
- Infiltration Operations gained more enemy and completion EXP, plus rare basic materials in their clear rewards.
- Freyna received a major skill and poison rework, greatly improving her mobbing gameplay.
Void Vessel, pity system and new build tools
Season 2 added Void Vessel and Sigma Sector, then reshaped progression with Fellows, the pity system, equipment Cores and Arche Tuning.
New content
- Void Vessel introduced an activity with one of three random paths, chests to open and research materials for Keelan and the first Fellow.
- Keelan, Ultimate Sharen and Ines arrived alongside Void Erosion Purge and the rotating Abyss Colossi.
- Beyond the Void continued the story in Sigma Sector with Serena, new missions, four Ultimate Weapons and later Ultimate Blair.
New systems
- Fellows automatically pick up loot, increase Module drop chance and can dismantle items when the inventory is full.
- The pity system lets players target up to four materials or Amorphous Materials; after enough failed attempts, the selected item is guaranteed.
- Cores add extra stats to Ultimate Weapons and External Components. Reactor and External Component rolls can also be upgraded with materials, so a useful item no longer needs perfect yellow rolls when it drops.
- Arche Tuning adds a bonus node board for each Descendant that progresses with EXP earned in Sigma Sector and other end-game activities.
QoL and reworks
- Ultimate Reactor Optimization Conditions now require a weapon class instead of one specific weapon, leaving much more freedom in builds.
- Reactor rotations were simplified: ammunition type was removed from their filters, and every rotating Reactor now drops at Ultimate tier.
- Simultaneous Research slots increased from five to seven, and the cap on Consumable slots was removed.
Axion, vehicles and Trigger Modules
Season 3 opened Axion Plains, added Nell and the first vehicles, then introduced Trigger Modules and the first eight-player Colossus battle.
Advanced activities and farming revamps
This stretch added several missions, Abyss and Challenge bosses, Onslaught, Bounty Operations, Axium Mining, Arche Activity and major reward changes.
Extreme Intercepts, Onslaught Stage 4 and anniversary updates
